‘As If Nothing Had Happened’, the new album by Carla Bruni, the wife of French president Nicholas Sarkozy, has replaced Coldplay at the top of the French album chart.
Bruni’a much critiqued record outsold Coldplay’s ‘Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends’ in its first full week of release.
Bruni married president Sarkozy in February just months after they were first spotted together.
The ex-model has been linked to rockers Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton in the past.
You can hear Bruni talk about the making of her album HERE.
