Now in its seventh year, Standon Calling 2008 looks set to be the best one yet and a highlight of the festival season.

Set in the pastoral grounds of a 16th Century Hertfordshire Manor House on the weekend of August 1-3, the highly intimate festival boasts an impressive line-up.

Headliners this year are The Maccabees, Mystery Jets and the mighty Super Furry Animals, while elsewhere on the bill are the likes of Glasvegas, Late of the Pier, Los Campesinos! and Friendly Fires.
