Mariah Carey has revealed that she hopes to be on the road in support of her new record by November.
The singer, who released her new album 'E=Mc2' earlier this year, had to put live plans on hold following her Spring marriage to Nick Cannon.
"We're looking at November right now," Carey said. "Please don't hold me accountable if it turns out to be December 5th or December 7th or January 18th."
Speaking to MTV, Carey said she expected the tour to be “elaborate” after her last set of live dates boasted nine costume changes.
"I like elaborate. We only do substantial. That's what my jeweller says. I haven't gotten the looks in mind just yet, but we're going to figure it out soon enough,” she said.
Carey's only confirmed live dates so far include the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles and Fashion Rocks at Radio City Hall in New York.
