Radiohead's 'In Rainbows' should be the winner of this year's Mercury Music Prize, according to Gigwise readers.
When the shortlist was announced yesterday we asked you to cast your votes on who should be the rightful winner. With 41% of the 1000 plus votes, the Oxford band were overwhelming favourites.
Elbow's 'The Seldom Seen Kid' came second with 13% of the vote, while Robert Plant and Alison Krauss' 'Raising Sand' came closely behind with 11%.
Faring the worst with just 1% of the vote were Adele's '19', Estelle's 'Shine' and The Portico Quartet's 'Knee-deep In The North Sea.'
Radiohead are joint favourite with The Last Shadow Puppets, according to the bookmakers, with 5/1 odds given to their respective records.
