Pete Doherty has been released from his rehabilitation programme after he attended a pre-trial hearing earlier this morning, charged with assault and blackmail.
His bail has been extended and he is now free to perform at the scheduled Babyshambles gigs tonight at the London Garage and tomorrow at the London Brixton Academy.
Carl Barat turned up at court to support his former band mate, however, Doherty must return to court on April 18 to enter his plea.
While Doherty has been attending a court enforced rehabilitation programme a bidding war has broken out over his prison diaries, reports The Sun.
Doherty kept extensive diaries during a three month stint he did for burglary back in 2003.
A source said: "Various publishers are interested in signing the rights to the journals."
