Bon Jovi and the Spice Girls have the two biggest American tours of 2008 so far, according to Billboard’s midyear charts.
The chart, which runs from November 2007 to May 2008, was topped by Bon Jovi – whose world tour grossed $112.4million.
The impressive figures come despite a relatively short break between the band’s current and last tour, as well as a difficult economic climate.
The Spice Girls, who reunited at the end of last year for a 45-show tour, came in second, grossing $70million.
The Police were third in the midyear countdown – and are likely to take the overall prize come the end of 2008.
The band’s world tour, which ends in New York next month, is already the third biggest of all time, grossing $359million.
