Coldplay's Chris Martin Slams Their 'Crap' Tour Merchandise
Coldplay have removed a number of items from their tour merchandise after singer Chris Martin declared it to be a “no crap zone”, its been claimed.
Martin and the rest of the band were apparently shocked when they saw the condition of some of their T-shirts ahead of the start of their US tour on Monday (July 14th).
“We were in the dressing room in LA looking at some of the stuff and much of it, especially some of the T-shirts, looked terrible,” he told the Sun newspaper.
“We put so much work into our music. That same quality control has to extend to stuff being sold at our shows and we made that clear. It has to be a no crap zone.”
Coldplay's tour, which began in Los Angeles, draws heavily from their new album, 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends'.
