Warrant Issued For Pete Doherty's Arrest

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty, after he failed to attend a court hearing.

Doherty was due to appear at Yeovil Magistrates Court yesterday (July 17th) to face allegations of criminal damage.

The hearing related to an incident last August, where Doherty is alleged to have chased a female photographer into a shop after she tried to take a photo of his then girlfriend Irina Lazareanu.

Cath Mead was not injured in the incident but damage was caused to her camera.

The Associated Press reports that Doherty is now due to appear before magistrates later this week.
