The odds on Duffy singing the theme tune for the next James Bond film have been slashed after a member of the public placed a “very serious” bet on the singer.
The bet, which was confirmed by Ladbrokes, follows a report in the Independent newspaper that claims a source from Pinewood Studios, where the film was shot, has all but confirmed her participation.
Duffy is one of a number of female singers, who include Amy Winehouse and Beyonce Knowles, that have been linked to the latest instalment of the Bond franchise.
Quantum of Solace, which will once again see Daniel Craig as the secret agent, is due to open worldwide this October.
