A guitar which was torched onstage by Jimi Hendrix and the last surviving drum kit of Led Zeppelin's late John Bonham will form part of an auction in London this September.

The items, together with Jim Morrison's final notebook of poetry and a signed Band Aid song-sheet, which includes the autograph of Michael Jackson, are expected to fetch over $1million.

The auction will take place at the Idea Generation gallery on September 4th.

Hendrix's famously set his 1965 Fender Stratocaster on fire during a performance at the London Astoria in 1967.

The legendary guitarist was taken to hospital with minor hand injuries following the incident, which came at the climax of his performance.

The guitar, which remains intact, is expected to fetch upwards of $1million.
