Pete Doherty sprayed champagne into the mouths of audience members during the climax of Babyshambles set at at the Montreux Jazz Festival on Tuesday (July 15th).
The band's performance in Switzerland came after a string of cancelled festival appearances, including scheduled dates in Norway and Belgium.
Local reports described Babyshambles performance, which included tracks from both their albums, as “compelling” and “turmoil” free.
After a powerful rendition of 'Albion', Doherty took a bottle of champagne and coated the crowd with it.
Babyshambles then ended their set with '**** Forever', which the singer dedicated to a young fan who recently died of cancer.
