Footage of Canadian singer Feist performing on Sesame street has appeared online.

The video shows the singer performing a special rendition of her hit single '1,2,3,4' while flanked by familiar puppets from the show.

Feist's appearance on the programme will coincide with the launch of the 11th series, which gets under way next month.

The singer follows in the footsteps of other musicians including James Blunt and Alicia Keys, who have both performed on the popular children's programme.
