Rapper Nas has announced his upcoming headlining tour in support of his ninth studio album.
The tour, entitled ‘The Jones Experience’, is "a big show in an intimate venue," as described by Nas and will feature special guests Talib Kweli, Jay Electronica and DJ Green Lantern. The tour will be hitting small clubs across North America in between the rapper’s dates on the ‘Rock The Bells’ tour.
"I felt this experience was important because I wanted to touch my fans in an intimate setting with this new album. All the fans that have supported me over the years, I truly appreciate it and this is my way of giving back,” states Nas about ‘The Jones Experience’.
The 21 date tour kicks off in Montreal on July 22 and wraps up in Minneapolis on Labor Day weekend.
Nas has endorsed presendial candidate Barak Obama, even sampling a speech of his on the album.
