Coldplay have released a surprise new song, entitled 'Death Will Never Conquer', to coincide with the beginning of their world tour.
The track, which is available as a free download from their website, is not featured on the band's latest album 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends'.
Coldplay's world tour kicked off last night (July 14th) in Los Angeles and will call in the UK in December.
Writing on their website, the band said: "Tonight's the first night of our tour. To say thank you to everyone who's bought tickets and supported us, here's a new song called 'Death Will Never Conquer'.”
They also promised that it would be played “with a twist” during the tour.
You can purchase tickets for the UK leg of the band's tour through Gigwise by clicking here.
