The Kooks And Ting Tings To Re-Launch 'Dirty' Series Of Transmission

The Kooks, The Ting Tings and Santogold are just three of the acts who will help re-launch the new series of Transmission, it's been announced.

The first show of the new series, which begins on July 25th, will also see a performance from Roots Manuva.

In addition to live performances, the new series will also include a new feature called Ice Cream Discos, where two guest DJs will host a silent disco in rival ice cream vans.

Speaking about the new series, Steve Jones, who will front the show with Lauren Laverne, said Transmission was the “dirty little secret I keep locked in my basement.”
