Van Halen singer Dave Lee Roth has been left baffled by a story reported in the media claiming he had suffered a severe allergic reaction to nuts.
Reported claimed two Canadian police man helped save the 53-year-old's life after he suffered an anaphylactic shock in his car on July 8 in Ontario.
Now, Lee Roth has denied that the incident ever happened or he was even in the city at the time. The rocker also said he wasn't aware he was allergic to nuts.
He told celebrity blog TMZ.com: "I was in Canada only from July 1st through to the 4th for a performance at the Quebec City Summer Festival. I had no encounters or incidents with the police (and) the only thing I'm allergic to is criticism."
