Chris Martin has defended his and Gwyneth Paltrow's decision to name their children Apple and Moses saying that names are “just noise.”
He ratified his argument by saying that there's no difference between naming your child Chewbacca (Wookiee from Star Wars) or Sarah.
Asked about the flak he's received for choosing unconventional names, he told Blender: People make a big fuss over names. Names of babies, names of albums, names of bands.
"There’s nothing weird about calling your baby Chewbacca if that’s what you want to call your baby. It’s no stranger than Sarah.
"A name is just a noise, and if you like it, then **** what everyone else says."
