The Faces could be on the verge of announcing a world tour and recording a new studio album, it's been reported.
Former band members Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood apparently discussed the idea over lunch at a restaurant in London last week.
“Ron and Rod had a great time reminiscing. They were having a laugh and a joke but there is still a serious hunger to get back in the studio,” a source told the Sun newspaper.
“There are plans for the band to start recording in the autumn with a tour in the pipeline for this winter.”
The pair have apparently been intrigued about reforming the group following the successful reunions of Led Zeppelin and The Police.
The Faces last studio album, 'Ooh La La', was released in 1973.
