Pop star Shakira is in talks to sign a multi-million dollar deal with the concert promoter Live Nation, it's been reported.
The singer is understood to be considering an all-encompassing agreement which will include her touring, recording and merchandise assets.
The talks, which according to the New York Post are in an advanced stage, could be worth a reported $70million.
Live Nation already have a touring partnership with Shakira. Last year the company controlled the US leg of her Oral Fixation tour, which is believed to have grossed $100million.
A sweeping deal with Live Nation would echo the company's recent acquisition of Madonna and US rapper Jay-Z under similar agreements.
