US rapper Jay-Z says he would like to headline the Glastonbury Festival again, following his performance last weekend.
"Of course," the rapper replied, when asked in an interview with MTV whether he would consider returning to the Somerset event.
“It was incredible. I'm glad it went that way, 'cause the world was watching. ... We get sounds from all over the world. It's the universal language.”
The rapper overcame critics to deliver an unforgettable performance on the Pyramid Stage last Saturday (June 28th).
Jay-Z, who described his own performance as “amazing”, admitted that he was nervous before taking to the stage.
“It was a historic night for Glastonbury and for myself. It's the first time a hip-hop act had headlined,” he said.
“It was one of those nervous moments right before I went on, and I haven't had that feeling in a long time. In front of [100,000] people, it was this great thing."
