Klaxons Use Mime To Describe New Album At Glastonbury

In a year filled with special secret gigs, Klaxons told Gigwise they are happy to take a backseat this year.

“I’m not playing and I’m happy not to be,” said  Jamie Reynolds. “I need a bit of space and it’s best to come back with another record..”

Klaxons will begin recording their hotly-anticipated sophomore album next week, he revealed. “We start on Tuesday with James Ford in France. It’s sounding great.”

Jamie then turned to mime to describe the sound of the album, swaying slowly but freely to show the new record’s sound, as opposed to a frantic dance for the first album.

Like seemingly everyone else, he is off to see Jay-Z’s headline Pyramid Stage set. “I’m having a really good time, I’ve been here since Thursday,” he stated.

“But if I only see Jay-Z all weekend that’s fine by me.”
