American artist Pharrell has been sighted at this year's Glastonbury fuelling rumours that he could be performing onstage with Jay-Z during the headlining set tonight.
Rumours are flying as to who will grace the stage with hip-hop star Jay-Z ahead of his Glastonbury performance.
Jay-Z will take to the stage hoping to quieten critics this evening, following enormous controversy over the decision to put him in the headline slot at this year’s festival.
We know Eavis stands by his choice and that the surprising choice of artist marks a step in the diversification of the Glasto bill. But one question is yet to be answered – who will Jay-Z invite onstage as his ‘special guest’?
Pharrell is the latest artist suspected of joining Jay-Z after he was spotted weaving his way through the stalls in the unusual Glastonbury sunshine.
Lupe Fiasco is also tipped by many to be the ‘special guest’.
Lupe’s performance on the jazz/world stage last night makes him already in the running to join Jay-Z tonight.
Meanwhile some have tipped Amy Winehouse, who will perform on the Pyramid Stage just before, to be the Jay-Z’s guest of choice, following previous comments by the American star that reveal him to be a huge fan of the troubled British songstress.
But who will it be? Stay tuned to Gigwise to find out first…
