Dirty Pretty Things frontman Carl Barat has distanced himself from reports that he is writing a musical with former Libertines bandmate Pete Doherty.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Barat said that he was “too busy concentrating on my other projects” to work on the venture.
“I haven’t seen Pete for donkeys. The musical is off – the window closes,” he said.
It had been claimed that the musical would debut on the London stage later this year.
Barat is due to play his first high profile solo show at this weekend's Glastonbury Festival.
The Dirty Pretty Things singer will play on the festival's Park Stage. For more details, check out our Festival Guide.
