Snoop Dogg Confirms New Dr Dre Album Is Finished

US rapper Snoop Dogg has confirmed that the new Dr Dre album, 'Detox', has finally been completed.

"That record is real, it's coming... I was starting to doubt it myself and then I went up in there and he played so much music for me it knocked my head off,” the rapper said.

“I see what he got them waiting for. It's on and poppin'. He got records, he got heat."

Dr Dre's last album '2001' was released in 1999 and since then the producer has helped to launch the careers of Eminem and 50 Cent.

It's widely believed that 'Detox', which is expected later this year, will be Dr Dre's last solo studio project.

Snoop Dogg did confirm, however, that Dr Dre would produce his next album.
