As festivalgoers rush to pitch their tents in preparation for this years festival, Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has confirmed that the event will take place in 2009.
Eavis, who has previously appeared doubtful about the festival's future, told the BBC that it could even continue until 2015.
“I'll certainly go till I'm 80 – which is seven years. I really want to do that,” he said.
For the first time in fifteen years, tickets for this year's festival, which gets underway on Friday (June 27th), are still available.
It's thought that the bad weather that has plagued recent edition's of the event has deterred people from buying tickets.
But a number of music fans and musicians has voiced their concern about this years line up, which will be headed by US rapper Jay-Z.
Gigwise is on site at this years Glastonbury and will be bringing you all the latest interviews, news and pictures from the site.
