Approximately 3000 tickets for this years Glastonbury festival remain unsold on the eve of this years event, according to organisers.
If the remaining tickets, which can still be purchased online or in select stores of HMV, fail to sell out by tonight it will be the first time in 15 years that the festival hasn't sold out in advance.
Speaking to the BBC, organiser Michael Eavis admitted that there was “a lot at stake”.
“We really do need a good year this year, that's for sure,” he added.
Organisers have maintained that the festivals notorious problem with bad weather is the reason why tickets sales have been slow.
But some fans and musicians, including Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher, have blamed this year's line up, which is headed by US rapper Jay-Z.
Earlier this year Gallagher said it was “wrong” for a hip-hop act to headline Glastonbury.
Responding to the criticism last week, Jay-Z said it was time to embrace hip-hop and to step away from “old school thinking”.
