Pete Doherty and Carl Barat, former members of the Libertines, have begun writing together again, according to reports.
The pair apparently shared songwriting sessions before Barat was admitted to hospital last week.
According to the Sun newspaper, Barat and Doherty got together to write songs for a musical but are considering using some on a possible new album.
"Songs have been pouring out of the pair and now they're considering holding back a few compositions to record and maybe release in the future,” an unnamed source told the paper.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Barat was released from hospital over the weekend after being diagnosed with acute pancreatitis.
He is expected to return to live action with his new band, Dirty Pretty Things, at the Glastonbury festival this weekend.
