Doves are all set to complete the recording of their new album by the end of the summer and will road test it this autumn.
The band revealed the news in a post on their official website as they continue to work on the follow up to ‘Some Cities’.
They wrote: "Rest assured we are working all the time and not just in the pub or hoovering the garage!
We aim to have this record finished by the end of summer, songs are already starting to be mixed."
The band last year took up residence on a Chesire farm to record their fourth studio album.
