Amy Winehouse has been put into isolation in a London hospital as Doctors battle to control her chest infection.
Although initial fears that the singer may have contracted tuberculosis have proved false, doctors are still said to be concerned about the Winehouse's health.
Winehouse was admitted to the London Clinic in Marylebone on Monday (June 16th) after she fainted whilst “doing admin” at her home in North London.
So far, tests carried out on the star have proved “inconclusive”, although doctors have now ruled out tuberculosis.
Speaking to the Sun newspaper, a source said that doctors are stil treating Winehouse’s condition “very seriously”.
"She is coughing and spluttering all over the place so visitors would be at risk of catching whatever she has,” they added.
Winehouse is still scheduled to perform at Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday celebrations in Hyde Park next Friday (June 27th) and the Glastonbury Festival on the following day.
