Dirty Pretty Things frontman Carl Barat is “continuing to rest” in hospital after being diagnosed with acute pancreatitis.
According to a statement on the band's website, the singer has been inundated with messages of support from fans.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Barat was rushed into hospital on Tuesday (June 17th) complaining of stomach pains.
Reports that the former Libertines member requires surgery have yet to be confirmed.
In addition to a show in Hackney tomorrow (June 20th), the band have been forced to postpone their scheduled appearance at Rock A Field Festival in Luxembourg on Saturday (June 21st).
