Amy Winehouse faces a long spell in hospital after she was taken ill at her home in North London on Monday (June 16th), it's been reported.
The singer, who fainted whilst “doing admin”, was originally admitted to the London Clinic as a precaution but was kept in after initial tests proved “inconclusive”.
In today's Sun newspaper, Winehouse's father, Mitch, is quoted as saying that his daughter will be staying in hospital for “as long as possible.”
Claims that the singer is suffering from an irregular heartbeat haven't been confirmed.
Winehouse is due to make two appearances next weekend, first at the Glastonbury Festival on June 26th and the following day at a special concert in London's Hyde Park.
The event, organised to celebrate the 90th birthday of Nelson Mandela, will also feature appearances from Razorlight and Leona Lewis.
