A new Smiths album, entitled 'Rare', has emerged on a number of online digital-download stores.
'Rare's' tracklist includes b-sides to the bands classic 'This Charming Man' and a studio version of Johnny Marr’s instrumental 'The Draize'.
Despite its emergence on some countries' iTunes stores and Amazon MP3, there is much speculation about the authenticity of the release, with a number of the fans claiming that it is a bootleg.
Writing on a tribute website to the band, some fans have noted how the quality of each recording doesn't seem to have improved from previous unofficial bootlegs.
As yet, there has been no comment from Warner Records, the label who control the band's back-catalogue.
