In between showing us their moon walk moves and creating new festival phrase ‘moon rock’, which according to Rise Against is the word du jour for moon walking round the Download site, the band have time to quickly update Gigwise on how their forthcoming album is coming along.

The band have no firm decisions on a title for the album, apart from ‘Moon Rock’ which they are now considering, apparently.
Lead singer, Tim McIlrath said: “It’s mostly finished and is coming together really well. We’ve been working with Bill Stephenson and Jason Livermore. They’re really amazing producers.”
Both producers worked on Rise Against’s last album ‘The Suffer and the Witness’ and second album ‘Revolutions per Minute’ and the band were keen to work with them again.
Rise Against have said that they’ve been really happy keeping their sound organic and continuing to work with the same people.
Tim explained: “The more we delve into this music world and the bigger we get, the more we realise that we have nothing in common with that community. And it’s a weird, strange, foreign place.”
The band are playing a couple of shows this summer including some Warped dates. Their album is forthcoming.
