Amy Winehouse is expected to return home later after spending the night under observation in a London clinic.
Winehouse fainted yesterday (June 16th) whilst “doing admin” at her home in North London.
The singer was prevented from falling by her assistant and taken to the London Clinic in Marylebone by her father, Mitch, a spokesperson said.
Winehouse was kept in by doctors so that she could undergo some precautionary tests.
The singer had just returned from signing autographs for Canadian fans who had gathered outside her home in Camden when she was taken ill.
She is due to perform later his month at Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday celebrations in Hyde Park.
Winehouse was also recently unveiled as a the special guest performer at this years Glastonbury Festival, where she is due to take to the stage ahead of Saturday (June 26th) headliner Jay-Z.
