Kaiser Chiefs Ricky Wilson Compares Himself To Hugh Grant

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has compared himself to Hugh Grant after he was asked to deliver the best man's speech at his friends wedding.

Wilson said he found the experience more “nerve-wracking that playing in front of thousands of people.”

"Doing the speech was the most horrifying thing I've ever done. It really freaked me out about weddings,” he said.

Wilson said that the speech made him get “all sweaty” and his voice “went really high pitched.”

“I was like Hugh Grant, stuttering and everything," he added.

On Friday, Kaiser Chiefs played their biggest UK festival to date, topping the bill at the Isle of Wight festival.
