Coldplay have gone straight in at number on on the UK album charts – despite their new record only being released last Thursday (June 12th).
'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends' sold 302,000 copies in just three days, becoming one of the fastest selling albums of all time.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the band will preview tracks off the eagerly anticipated record at a special concert in London tonight.
The gig, at Brixton Academy, will be the first time that Coldplay have incorporated the album into a full live show.
Elsewhere on the album chart this week, The Fratellis were a new entry at five with 'Here We Stand'.
In the singles countdown, Mint Royale's remix of 'Singin' In The Rain' held onto the top spot, after it was featured by the winner of Britain's Got Talent.
And Rihanna also kept her hold on the number two spot with 'Take A Bow'.
