My Bloody Valentine Return With First Gig In 16 Years

Sixteen years after they last took to the stage together, My Bloody Valentine were reunited in London last night (June 12th).

The gig was the first of two warm up shows at the ICA venue ahead of the bands UK tour, which gets underway at the Roundhouse on June 20th.

Unsurprisingly, the band played a set which resurrected classics from their pioneering ‘Loveless’ and ‘Isn’t Anything' albums.

The remainder of the set comprised of songs from their various EPs and ended with a twenty minute rendition of ‘You Made Me Realise’.

Manchester Saturday 28th June MBV what was the abuse for? 25mins of noise we were lucky we had hearing left after the gig. POOR show MBV. will not be supporting you anymore!

Manchester Sunday 29th June MBV the 30mins of noise to close the show was an amazing end to an amazing gig. Thanks very much for coming back and playing. Much better than the football.
