The White Stripes were briefly re-united on Sunday (June 8th) as Meg White joined Jack on stage in Detroit.
Meg, who appeared during the encore of White's other band, The Raconteurs, tapped on a few drums but the duo didn't perform together.
According to Billboard, White shouted, “Hey everybody, this is Meg White,” before Meg got up and made way for the Raconteurs to return.
The White Stripes tour ended abruptly last year when it was revealed that Meg was suffering from “acute anxiety”.
Speaking recently, however, White fuelled speculation about new material, saying that the duo had started work on a seventh studio album.
