Paul Weller has joked that if he ever retires from the music industry, that's when he'll get into harder drugs.
The 50-year-old former Jam frontman also said he wouldn't mind being a bit like Mick Jagger, saying that the Rolling Stone is still leading an exciting life despite his advanced years.
Asked whether he'll ever be ready to put his feet up, Weller responded: "Retirement? What the ****? That's when you get into heroin, when you're 70. And Viagra. I'll inhale the stuff. Out with a bang.
"I wouldn't mind being Mick Jagger. He's skinny, still has hair and shags loads of birds."
Paul Weller's latest album 22 Dreams was released last week. He's currently touring Europe.
