Sex Pistols John Lydon 'Accused Of Beating Woman'

Sex Pistols star John Lydon has been accused of hitting a woman during the filming of a reality television show, according to court papers.

Roxane Davis, who was the assistant producer on the unnamed show, claims that Lydon hit her because he wasn’t happy with his hotel room.

The alleged incident, which is said to have taken place in January 2007, didn’t lead to criminal charges but, according to the Associated Foreign Press, Davis is understood to be now suing Lydon for assault.

A spokesperson for the Sex Pistol has yet to respond to the claims.

Sex Pistols are due top headline the Isle of Wight Festival later this month alongside Kaiser Chiefs and Sting.
