Coldplay’s live return in the United Kingdom will be broadcast on BBC Radio 1, it’s been announced.
The show, which will see the band play tracks off their new album ‘Viva La Vida or Death & All His Friends’, takes place on June 16th.
The gig will be broadcast as part of DJ Zane Lowe’s show – which runs from 7pm-10pm.
Coldplay’s fourth album is released everywhere on June 12th. The band are also due to play two free shows in New York and Barcelona this month.
The band will head out on a full UK tour in December. Tickets for the tour are on sale now and available through Gigwise here.
