Sir Paul McCartney Invites Fans Round For Jamie Oliver Cooked Dinner

He'll give you a new song...

Sir Paul McCartney has invited fans round for a special virtual dinner party tomorrow night (June 5th), which will feature a vegetarian menu chosen by Jamie Oliver.

Fans who donate a minimum of $25 to attend the party, which will take place on the former Beatles website, will receive a previously unreleased song.

‘Lifelong Passion (Sail Away)’ was recorded by Sir Paul under the name The Fireman and is the result of a collaboration with producer Youth.

Money raised from the event will go towards Adopt-A-Minefield’s effort to resolve the global landmine crises and help put land back into productive use.

“The Night of a Thousand Dinners is not only a great way to raise money for a just cause, it’s also a good way for friends and families to have fun together,” Sir Paul said.

For more information, you can check Sir Paul’s website.

  • @Gigwise It's because the only way they could get Dave Rowntree to play the drums was to hypnotise him. Too strenuous otherwise, poor chap.
