U2 are to release previously unreleased material on special re-issues of some of their most famous albums.
The band's first three studio albums, ‘Boy’, ‘War’ and ‘October’, will be released on July 22nd on single CD, deluxe edition and vinyl formats.
‘Boy’, the bands 1980 debut album, will come backed with the previously unreleased songs ‘Speed Of Life’, Cartoon World’ and ‘Speed of Life’. The album will also include live versions of songs.
The reissue of ‘October’ will feature also feature live tracks, while 1983’s ‘War’ will include the previously unreleased ‘Angels Too Tied To The Ground’.
U2 are currently recording their latest studio album alongside Brian Eno in Dublin. A release schedule for the record has yet to be established.
