The Sunrise Festival, which was postponed last weekend because of flash flooding, will now go ahead in association with The Big Chill festival.
The partnership means that ticket holders for Sunrise will now be able to attend The Big Chill festival, which runs from August 1st-3rd in Herefordshire.
Organisers of The Big Chill extended an invitation to organisers of the Somerset event after the county was savaged by rain last Friday (May 30th).
The flooded conditions meant that many who had already arrived at the festival site were told to leave.
Katrina Larkin, co-organiser of The Big Chill, said she admired Sunrise’s “green ethos and spirit and we’re so pleased they took us up on the offer.”
“We really felt for them when we heard the news at the weekend but we are so pleased to be able to help out and are absolutely delighted to be welcoming them into the Big Chill as part of our happy family,” she said.
