Jay-Z 'Inspired By The Beckhams For Glastonbury Celebrations'

US rapper Jay-Z will hold a number of parties in the run up to his headlining appearance at this months Glastonbury Festival, it’s been claimed.

The rapper, whose scheduled appearance at the event has been met with a mixed reaction, will apparently be travelling to the festival in style.

"Jay-Z will have a top-of-the-range chopper to fly him in with champagne and the works,” a source told the Mirror newspaper.

"After hearing Tom Cruise and Will Smith laid it on at David and Victoria Beckham's Welcome to America party last year, he wants a piece of the action."

According the paper, the rapper has exaggerated his plans, which include £300 bottles of Armand de Brignac champagne, following comments made by Noel Gallagher about his appearance at the event.

Earlier this year, the Oasis guitarist said it was “wrong” for a hip-hip act to headline the festival.
