Kurt Cobain Ashes 'Stolen From Home Of Courtney love'

The ashes of former Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain have been stolen from the home of his widow, Courtney Love, according to reports.

The theft, from her home in Hollywood, has left Love feeling “suicidal”, according to the News of the World.

The newspaper says that Cobain’s ashes, apparently kept in a pink teddy-bear-shaped bag along with a lock of his hair, were taken along with thousands of pounds worth of clothes and jewellery.

It quotes Love as saying: "I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me. I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal.

"If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do," she said.

Cobain is still revered by music fans fourteen years after he killed himself with a shotgun.

Love apparently used carry the singers ashes around with her, so that she “could feel Kurt was still with me.”

"Now it feels like I have lost him all over again,” she told the newspaper.
