Dame Shirley Bassey has been discharged from hospital, just over a week after she was admitted suffering from abdominal pains.
The singer’s spokesperson Paul Carey said that she was "resting up and on the road to a full recovery".
Dame Shirley was forced to undergo an emergency operation on her stomach at the hospital in Monaco – where she lives.
The singer, who is perhaps most famous for her work on the James Bond theme songs, is due to perform at the Nelson Mandela concert in Hyde Park next month.
The event, in London on June 27th, will also feature performances from Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis, Queen and Razorlight.
