Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has said that the band are trying to blend Radiohead and Westlife to create the perfect sound.
Martin’s revelation came in an interview where he discussed frequently having dreams about other bands.
“I dreamt about Radiohead last night and Westlife the night before,” he told the Sun. “Which is the perfect blend of what we’re trying to do musically.”
Martin went on to say that he always dreams about groups that are “never interested in hanging out with us.”
“It’s like being at school and the bigger boys don’t want to play with you,” he added.
Tickets for Coldplay’s winter tour have gone on sale this morning and are available through Gigwise here.
