Michael Jackson 'Too Scared To Appear On American Idol'

Michael Jackson was too scared to appear on the live final of American Idol, it’s been claimed.

According to a report in today’s Sun newspaper, the pop star was scheduled to perform on the reality television show earlier this month but pulled out at short notice.

The paper quotes the singer as saying: “I can’t do it. Everyone will hate me.”

American Idol was won by David Cook, who beat 17-year-old David Archuleta in the final.

32million viewers tuned into the show, making it the second most watched programme on American television in 2008.

He is affraid because he knows he will be exposed for not being able to sing LIVE! He doesnt have Epic/Sony covering for him anymore - hand him a microphone, turn it out and tell him to sing. He wont! He would be be exposed for the lip syncing hack that he is!

Oh come now Brenda ... perhaps Michael doesn’t sing like he used to, but certainly you’ve seen/heard him when he was young ... long before technology came to his aid. Michael can sing, or at least he used to be able to. What he sounds like now ... no one knows, because he doesn’t sing live anymore. I think he missed his opportunity long ago. With all the scandals and years gone by, I don’t think he should sing. Find another job Michael; I hear McDonald’s is

Watch Every Single Major Career Highlight on Tv - every single one was Lip Sycned. Motown 25 Billie Jean, 1988 Grammys, 1993 Superbowl, 1995 MTV Comback, 2001 MSG Concert. Hand him a microphone and turn it on, he will make an excuse. He had a chance this year on The Grammys and he turned it down when they said he had to sing live. Now this! The guy is over, sure at one time he was entertaining, but that was when Ronald Reagan was President! That wa a long long time ago. a Quarter Century ago.
