The Liverpool Culture Company has said it will offer refunds to around 10% of ticket holders for Sir Paul McCartney’s homecoming show in Liverpool.
The move comes after people who purchased top-price £75 tickets complained that they would be seated in the same area as cheaper ticket holders.
Sir Paul McCartney’s concert forms part of Liverpool’s reign as the 2008 European capital of culture.
He will be joined by Kaiser Chiefs and The Zutons for the special event at Anfield on Sunday (June 1st).
According to the Liverpool Daily Post, tickets were put on sale for higher prices to cover the mounting costs for the event.
